About the Aaron J. White Foundation.
We are committed to supporting the development of people in marginalized communities. Discrimination deserves no place in our society.
Who was Aaron?
Aaron James White was born on July 9, 1997 in Cleveland, Ohio. When Aaron was 8, the White family decided to make a life change and relocated to Huntersville, NC where Aaron was able to grow into a sociable, lovable, and responsible young man. Aaron was known for having the ability to light up a room with his smile and charm. He was always willing to help those in need, and putting a smile on everyone’s face was his main priority.
Why we care deeply about our cause.
After graduating from Hopewell High School in 2015, Aaron went on to study Communications and Sociology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. On May 17th, 2018, Aaron was diagnosed with a Grade 3/malignant Astrocytoma tumor. It is rare for this tumor to be found in someone so young. On June 12, 2018 at 7:26 PM, Aaron passed away in Wake Forest, NC surrounded by his family and many loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Kim, his father, Andrè Sr., and his brother, Andrè Jr. The Aaron J. White Foundation was established to preserve Aaron’s memory and benefit the communities he loved.
